Burghley Road House A is one of the two luxury new-built house schemes designed by JAIA Architects in Wimbledon village. The front facade of the 6-bed house scheme reflects the sensitive setting within Wimbledon North Conservation Area, whereas the rear boasts the modern and bold design with outdoor swimming pool. This meticulously designed house has been praised by agents, viewers and developers for their unique floor layouts, interior and exterior design. JAIA proposed a double storey open void with a vertical curtain wall between ground and lower-ground floor to the rear of the house connecting not only those two floors but also inside to the back garden. An elegantly designed Fibonacci stair spiralling up in the void space is functionally optimised to circulate internal movement and is an eye-catching object giving a wow effect to visitors.
