Uverdale Road is a full refurbishment project for a prestigious client who is a world known footballer in Premiere League. JAIA Architects has been appointed to design this late Victorian terrace house to be refurbished, whilst including a single-storey extension of the basement to front and rear, and a rear infill. With a modern refurb of the rear elevation, whilst keeping the predominant character of the front elevation, the internal refurbishment comprised of high-end specs.

The proposed scheme to enhance the ground floor rear extension, with a large glazed sliding door, and a more improved basement with a personalised space for the client has been received very well by the client and got a full planning approval subsequently. JAIA Architects effectively blends a grand traditional front elevation with a more modern and informal rear elevation, through using a mix of timber and light metal.
