With the help of its members’ extensive experiences over the past 30 years, JAIA has continued to be an innovative architectural practice that transcends boundaries.

JAIA offers a platform for architects, developers, funders, contractors, and other consultants to collaborate as an integrated project team to give end users with higher quality architecture with a sustainable financial structure. Jai Hyuk Lee

Principal Director, AA Dipl. RIBA

As a chartered architect of RIBA (The Royal Institute of British Architects), Jai Hyuk Lee is the principal director of JAIA. He has previously worked for KPF, Llewelyn Davies Yeang and PCKO in London. His 30 years professional experience includes Residential, Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Leisure, Mixed Use Development, Master-plan and Urban Planning, from early stage design to completion.

Harper Bishop

Senior Architect

UK qualified architect Harper Bishops has over 15 years of experience with a rich portfolio including tall towers and innovative bridge designs. Notably, he led the successful completion of a 50-storey office tower in London, acclaimed as the BCO commercial workplace winner. Harper specializes in high-rise buildings and complex urban projects.

Carlson Ko

Architectural Assistant

Carlson brings experience from Malaysia and Singapore, having contributed to residential, commercial, leisure, and mixed-use developments. With a solid track record at firms like Archicentre and Starry Homestead, Carlson excels from the initial concept to project handover, demonstrating a keen ability to manage complex architectural projects.

Baiba Lapina

Interior Designer

Baiba a dynamic interior designer educated in Manchester, has excelled in leading design and visual merchandise roles since 2019. Driven by a passion for art and design, Baiba blends client preferences with her unique creative approach to deliver exceptional interiors. Her style focuses on interpreting and enhancing client visions through her distinctively artistic lens.

Luka Kai Yen Chang

Architectural Assistant

Luka educated at National Taiwan University and Oxford Brookes University, is pursuing a Part 3 diploma at The Bartlett, UCL. With international experience in Taipei, Tokyo, and London, Luka has worked extensively on residential, educational, and conservation projects, emphasizing sustainable design.

Chris Shim

Architectural Assistant

Chris combines a degree from Soongsil University and a Master’s from the University of Westminster. His career at DA Group in Korea focuses on residential projects, where he integrates innovative, sustainable solutions into his designs.
